Summer Vacation Outfits to Wear in Florida

We just got back from our summer vacation in Florida and I am thrilled to share all of the outfit details with you. Before I get to the outfits though, I’d like to share a little bit about Florida (specifically the 30a area) and why we chose this as our summer vacation.

30a is a coastal paradise and undoubtedly one of the most incredible vacation destinations in the world. With its year-round sunshine, impeccable beaches that stretch endlessly along the crystalline waters of the Gulf of Mexico, it’s truly a spectacular getaway. From relaxing sun-soaked moments on white sandy beaches, to bicycling through the exquisite and pristine white homes of Alys Beach, this was a vacation filled with relaxation, excitement, and unforgettable memories.

Aside from the beauty and relaxation, half the fun of these vacations for me are the outfits. I love putting together curated vacation looks that are chic, effortless, and match the aesthetic of the area. Without further ado, here are your summer vacation outfits to wear in Florida.

Black Mango Dress

Mango really hit the mark with this dress. Both knit and cut outs are perfectly on trend for summer, and as always the quality Mango pieces offer is exemplary. This chic little dress also comes in a vibrant yellow that’s perfect for any tropical vacation.

Seashell Midi Skirt

This seashell midi skirt is a summer dream come true. Its soft, flowing fabric is flattering for every figure. The seashell pattern, embroidered along the entire length, brings a whimsical touch to any summer ensemble. The versatile midi length allows for effortless day-to-night transitions, making it a wardrobe staple. Pair it with a crisp white blouse or a simple black tank for one of my favorite summer vacation outfits.

All Black Look

An all black look should always be on your list of summer vacation outfits to wear in Florida. A head to toe black outfit is striking and bold, while maintaining class and elegance.

These black pull on shorts are both extremely comfortable, as well as flattering. The gold button detail adds an extra luxe look, and the crop button down shirt completes the look.

Cream Flowy Pants

This is truly one of my favorite outfits from our summer vacation. There’s nothing more comfortable that flowy, drawstring pants paired with a cotton or linen button down shirt. This is really such an easy, effortless summer vacation outfit that looks polished and classy. Whether wearing this outfit for an afternoon at the beach, or to a rooftop dinner, the transition from day to night is seamless.

Printed Pants and Tank

If there is a such thing as the perfect summer pant, these are it. The cut, fit and fabric all create the most beautiful and flattering silhouette. Pair them with a black tank and sandals for daytime, or heels and a blazer for evening.

Black Knit Dress

Another piece that’s perfect to wear in Florida is this black knit dress. I wore it as a beach coverup, but it could easily transition into a dress to wear out and about. The low cut back detail is gorgeous and makes it feel elevated.

It seems fitting that the bag seen with me almost everywhere should have it’s own category. As far as I’m concerned this is THE summer bag and I couldn’t be happier that I purchased it.
